RoHs Testing

he RoHS directive (Restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) restricts the use of certain

hazardous substances.

Beginning July 1, 2006 the use of hazardous substances mentioned in the directive cannot be used in electrical and electronic equipment

Contents of Test:

6 hazardous materials forbidden by ROHS issued by European Union such as: Pb, Hg, Cd, Cr6+, PBBs and PBDEs;

Other Heavy Metal, such as: As, Se, Mo, and Cu etc.

Other Organic Substance, such as PAHS etc.

The RoHS directive is valid for the following products

◆ Information technology and telecommunication equipment

◆ Consumer equipment

◆ Lighting fittings

◆ Electrical and Electronic tools

◆ Toys

◆ Sports and leisure equipment

◆ Vending machines
